i simply don't care as destiny was, is and is always going to be a core pve shooter with shiity pvp attached to it. People really like being rewarded for low effort, so we get things that are braindead easy to use and stomp with. There is a reason why you see the same weapons and their associated playstyles over and over and over again with very rare exceptions

I have the same weapon with the same rolls showes how different people are to me that handcannon have lived in my vault and never seen use

I use game capture and after 30 minutes the game just tanks and im at 100% GPU usage when this happens

I've been coming to similar crossroads with RUclips. It's honestly scary to have to make a definitive choice on what to become. "Do I want to become the Destiny guy or the terraria guy or the fortnite guy?" "do I want to be that (insert game) guy in the next 10 years?" "Will this be fulfilling in the long run?" "Is gaming even truly my passion or was that just a way to learn how to do RUclips?" It's scary to make content for so long and then come to the realization that this thing that you've worked on for well over 4 years is not truly where you want to end up. Or at least sometimes it seems as though, this thing that you've worked on for over 4 years isn't going anywhere. You're always heading nowhere until you're there, but it's that feeling of being nowhere that seems endless.

I've been taking a break from the game shortly after finishing the LF campaign and *barely* touching the first season, but I've been keeping up with most of the news on the game in the mean time. At this point, especially following the SotG's "Lower your expectations" message -- I've decided that after I help my friend through Lightfall, I'll be (hopefully) permanently uninstalling the game. They're a business, and most of their decisions make sense from a business perspective; but as a consumer, many of them just feel bad while also charging top-dollar for "expansions" & MTX. Its a shame, since its the only FPS game I've been bothered to play long-term. If Destiny's development teams really are as small as management makes them out to be (i.e., Indie Studio sizes), then they truly are making miracles happen running a live-service game of this size. But we all know Bungie has plenty of resources to throw at the game -- but that's not as profitable as doing the bare-minimum, and telling your playerbase to lower their expectations. The line *must* go up. I do appreciate exceptionally calm tone and demeanor while going through the article -- while I do "want" to see people upset when companies do crappy things -- I also want there to be more apathy. Maybe Justin's "Apathy is the opposite of passion" phrase will actually do something; but not unless a significant portion of the population is in the same boat. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much we can do about it otherwise. As a _complete_ aside, the scene transition at the beginning was incredibly smooth/fluid and really caught me off guard (in a good way) -- seems super nice! Also, 28:55.

Bungie finds itself in a difficult spot. They want to move on to new projects but they have a successful game to maintain. It was much easier when they left Microsoft and Halo behind.
